The Temagami Outfitting Company specializes in canoe tripping adventures through one of the world’s finest, most pristine wilderness regions. When you choose to participate in one of our canoe, kayaking or hiking adventures, we provide everything. Bring your clothes and personal belongings. We have a fleet of over 60 canoes including new Souris River ultralight canoes for rental and retail. In addition, we have carried out an extensive maintenance program on our existing rental fleet. We use the finest equipment for our package participants, provide round trip shuttle services to and from your access points. CANOE AND KAYAK RENTALS
Our fleet of canoes includes over 60 boats including newly purchased Souris River ultralight canoes for rental and retail. In addition, we have carried out an extensive maintenance program on our existing rental fleet. As the area’s retail dealer for Souris River Canoes, we have several models and sizes to choose from including the popular Quetico. Made in Atikokan Ontario, these hand-crafted canoes are manufactured using epoxy and Kevlar with colors woven into the Kevlar cloth, and are renowned for lightweight, durability and ease of paddling.
The Temagami Outfitting Company's canoe rental fleet is large and made up of some of the finest, most popular canoes on the market today. From 16' standard Kevlar canoes to 18.5' Ultra-lite Kevlar epoxy three-seaters, and ABS river canoes, our quality fleet sets us apart. We have equipped all of our rental canoes with Teal portage yokes. All of our canoes are outfitted with 3 paddles (Wood or Plastic), PFD’s (life vests), whistles, bailers and rescue floating throw ropes. Our sea kayaks are Polyprop and fitted with rudders and skirts.
