About Our Services

The Temagami Outfitting Company specializes in canoe tripping adventures through one of the world’s finest, most pristine wilderness regions. When you chose to participate in one of our canoe, kayaking or hiking adventures, we provide everything. Bring your clothes and personal belongings. Our fleet of canoes is over 60 boats including new Souris River ultra light canoes for rental and retail.  In addition, we have carried out an extensive maintenance program on our existing rental fleet. We use the finest equipment for our package participants, provide round trip shuttle services to and from your access points. SHUTTLES

The Temagami Outfitting Company offers many ways to access your point of departure. We provide a staffed shuttle van and canoe and gear trailer to facilitate transportation to your put-in spot. You can use our boat taxi shuttle to put in points on Lake Temagami or let us arrange for fly-in service with our neighbor Lakeland Airways. We would also be happy to pick you up at North Bay Airport, the train or bus station when you arrive. Please contact us for pricing.

Temagami Boat Shuttles

Lake Temagami is configured like a giant spider with legs outstretched in every direction of the compass. It has 1000 kilometers of shoreline, with one leg reaching out over 20 kilometers from its center. The Temagami Outfitting Company's new Stanley 24' barge boat is available for service on Lake Temagami. We leave right from our dock on the waterfront in town and can haul 10 people, 5 canoes, and gear anywhere on the lake.

Van Shuttle

We have a large 11–passenger van and canoe trailers for shuttles to and from your access points. Our van shuttle can also provide service for your arrival and departure from North Bay Airport. If you are coming by train or bus, we can pick you up across the street (there's no need to portage your gear until the real trip begins). Please contact us for pricing.
